SAMUEL MAIN

Just a little update on life for ya.

Feels like it’s been a while since I sat down to write.

It’s probably been one week, but that is a long time for me.

I have been in full swing of working, training and trying to keep a social life too.

I’ve started to split ‘The MAIN Life!’ into four pillars, more of this to come over time, but I think it’ll help navigate today’s brain dump.

The MAIN Journey!

This for me is connecting with new people, developing relationships and networking. With this, the podcast has been going so well.

It has been so much fun connecting with new people, having in depth conversations and learning from those around me. I look forward to more episodes, but it can be challenging to keep up with consistent recording when I have a busy schedule.

The MAIN Business!

Business has been going great, clients adapting well to the ever changing marketplace and overcoming challenges. Coaching continues to be something I enjoy, and yet an area I still have so much to learn in. I also consult for a couple of companies too, which definitely has its challenges, but lots of potential and an area I see growing in the years to come. Overall, happy with my progress, now to remain consistent and continue to learn. My working hours have stacked up a lot recently, so I will need to keep an eye on this moving forward.

The MAIN Adventure!

This pillar for me, is all about fun, challenges and enjoying life. Right now, I am training for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in June… only a few weeks away. I am looking forward to the challenge and hopefully hitting the summit. We’ve raised over £700 already, and we are now in the final preparations having planned this over a year ago. More to come!

The MAIN Project!

This for me, is the constant pursuit of being better in every area of my life, with a focus on my mental and physical health. I am down around 5-6kgs in weight since the start of the year and in a much healthier place than when we were in the lockdown. Although my mental and physical health has been going from strength to strength, I have struggled to maintain my usual studying rituals as my workload has increased. This is something I want to improve upon and get back into the habit of.

And that is about it for now.

Thanks for taking an interest in my journey, and I hope you found this insightful today.
