Your Captain.

Your Captain.

Recently, I have spoken with multiple people regarding the concept of your captain.

This was introduced to me by an awesome coach I worked with, and it has stuck with me ever since.

Your captain can either be a role model of yours, or the best version of yourself in the future.

Example, picture if you were to act & be the best version of yourself or what your role model would do.

  • What clothes would you wear?

  • How would you act?

  • What would you read?

  • Who would you spend your time with?

  • What would you invest your money in?

  • Where would you live?

Once we can establish all these details about your captain, we can begin to take actions towards closing the distance between you in the present moment & your captain.

We can begin to see the difference between how you are acting today, verse how your best self acts.

We can begin to make changes to the daily actions and decisions we make.

With this in mind, I’d highly recommend taking the time to reflect, visualise and establish who your captain is.

Once you have this person in mind, consciously start making moves to becoming this person.

  • Start wearing the clothes your captain would wear.

  • Act how your captain would.

  • Read the books your captain would read.

  • Be intentional with who you spend your time with.

  • Invest accordingly.

  • Start making moves on where you would like to live.

By doing this, by aligning yourself with your captain and ultimately your best self, your life will begin to change and take shape.

It is an ongoing battle that will never end, but it is a step in the right direction.

Hope this has helped you today.

Here for a better you.
